1. What Are The Age Requirements For Drivers And Passengers?


All Renters and Drivers must be 21 years old and hold a valid Driver’s License and Insurance Card. Florida Slingshots reserves the right to conduct an investigative check of the Renter or Additional Driver's License to deem a Renter eligible to be a driver with an acceptable driving record. Each Slingshots Fits 2 People and any passenger must be able sit properly in the seat with their feet flat on the floor and properly restrained by the seatbelt. Children requiring the use of a car seat are not permitted.




2. Do I Need A Motorcycle License?


No, the Polaris Slingshot is classified as an autocycle in the State of Florida and only a valid Driver’s License is required.




3. Is Insurance Provided?


Liability Insurance Coverage is provided throughout the duration of the rental for the renter and any additional drivers identified on the reservation.




4. Do I Have To Provide a Security Deposit?


Yes. The security deposit is required via cash or an authorized credit/debit card, may vary from $500 - $1,000 and must be prepaid prior to all rentals. Deposit releases, returns, refunds, or charges are due and processed upon rental return. In the event any intentional neglect, misconduct, or unlawful activities are conducted on the Polaris Slingshot, the renter may be responsible for damages in excess of the initial deposit amount.




5. What Happens If I Cancel?


Cancellations with a 24-hour notice will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24-hours will receive a 50% credit towards a future rental with Florida Slingshots.
